First post. Yay!
I will be doing something spy related and I have a few ideas that I have been screwing around with in my head. I have some renders already done so I won't waste your time reading this and not looking at them.
Here they are.

These are the rest of the renders I have so far.
Here are some explanations:
The Sapper is literally just the electro-sapper from the game, I wanted to see if I could recreate the topology of the game model. The texture needs some work but I figured I would just move on and come back to it later.
The TriPlumage Letter Cutter is a recreation of the spy's butterfly knife, it is based off of an old letter opener I found online [still needs to be fully textured].
The Admiral's Hat is just a pirate's hat...I always figured the spy to be a bit of a pirate. That's it.
The Suppressed Colt is a handgun that has a suppression extension added to it. I always wondered why the spy never had a suppressor on his gun. The gun needs some work and I may just scrap it altogether and make another type of gun.

I'll look over the info and just try a bunch of different styles of lighting and texturing.
P.S. - AO PASS! WHAT?! I think it looks better and it doesn't take too long to render on my comp so I'll be doing them from now on.
This is an update for the suitcase sapper.
There is also a knife idea. It's a cane sword/dagger concept. I'm not completely sure as to the design of the cane dagger, but I think it could be a neat little animation for pulling out the cane dagger from first person view. I like the curved handle of the cane dagger, but I might just keep it straight to avoid awkwardness.

How do I post the picture in the main window so people don't have to leave the page to see the work?
I've tried dragging it in and it's a no go.
Any help with this one?

2. copy url
3. paste url in reply to thread box
4. wrap [img][/img] tags around pasted url
I am going to try this and re-upload all of my stuff tonight.
I can upload straight pictures opposed to the linked pictures.

Anyways, here is the Colt 1911 with a suppression barrel added onto it.
I changed the gun since then and the update is coming after this one.
A knife concept for the spy.
It's an old antique letter opener.
It's doesn't really fit in with the rest of my newest concepts so I will have to come back to it.

The story for this gun is that it looks very similar to the engineer's/scout's pistol and I wanted the Spy to have stolen it and added some flare to it. I feel that the Spy doesn't steal enough things in the game [except for my heart ].
Pistol with paralize (or sleep) dart. Has CD and use when disguised.
Explosive SAP: when u sap, "stunt" the building, but no destroy, when the time is out (2/3 of normal sap) explode the sap, destroy the building and do damage area. Maybe remove on 1 engi hit.
The alibi: is a watch for invisible. Only active after you backstab the enemy. Idea: u disguise, u backstab, instant (and auto) invisible and runaway. You can decloack before end of energy, but drains anyway (and only recharge after backstab).
I'm liking the tranq gun idea.
I think I may just adapt my silenced pistol into a tranq gun!

Suitcase Sapper. I am happy with this one.
