My theme is going to be for the scout. The idea behind it is "Stuff the scout stole from the Engineer's garage/secret lair", though I might extend that to be from other classes as well.

This isn't stuff that would fit engineer, i.e. a sentry or whatever, but using a similar aesthetic (technology) to fit with a concept common with the scout (scattergun).

So the first weapon idea is a "Rayscattergun", or just more simply a Raygun. Some of the final characteristics and design surrounding this will revolve around whether I have time to make good enough particle effects as well as the textures. If I don't have time, it'll just work like the normal scattergun.

A rough sketch of the design I'm going for. Like I said, many things including the lightbulb and the attachment objects will be decided depending on the amount of polys I'll have available at that point and challenges that might come with texturing it. Currently working on a lower resolution model at the moment.

Some of my other ideas for this was a smaller pistol raygun (one that looks more like a toy than a realistically designed one, like the shotgun above), some sort of goofy 1950's-60's inspired space helmets, and a bat replacement. No designs for those yet though as I'm still working through the ideas.

And yes, I realize I'm a little late to start but I was recovering from surgery on one of my wrists so I had to delay this. Hope I can finish in time!
