TF2 - Polypack - CrooZin

Hi guys, I've started making a Cork hat for the Sniper, I've modelled the hat and have got it textured but am having some troubles with the Jiggle bones for the corks. This is what it looks like so far.
I really just need some help with the placement of the bones and the settings for them in the QC file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

    8k-9k+ triangles for a hat?!

    Please tell me all those triangles are from different layers and not just on that one hat model.

    What's the polycount on the strings there? you should probably make them just flat panels with a few segments. They're really small and would be hard to see in-game anyway, so they don't have to be high-def.

    Lol nah, I had the Sniper hidden thats where the all the polies are. The hats only about 700 Tris.

    I havent really used bones much before and I dont know how many bones I should have for each cork. I had 1 version with 6 bones for each cork, but I thought thats was way too much, so I've cut it back to 2 bones per cork, do you think that is still to many? And is there anyway to make them move not so uniformally, as you can see in the pic above they all move the same.
