Whats everyone thoughts? I really enjoyed the destruction of the first game but the story was so flat and boring


The one thing that bugs me with this new game is the main character! man if there was a award for generic douche it would go to this guy. Who thought that a bald guy with tribal tattoos and a neck choker plus a bone earring would make a cool character? I have fixed this issue for them :P couldent resist ( this is an art forum after all ):





Lets see how they handle this one.

Rebellion is out and alien invasions are in? Why even call it Red Faction if it's missing the main point of the last 3 games in the series? I guess we'll just have to see how it turns out. Guerrilla was really good and if they just make a new game with the same mechanics and everything it should be just as good... logically

why is there no spec on anything?

as for the underground thing. the one major thing i liked about RFG was the open environments. this alien/corridor/dark/techy sort of thing is so generic.

maybe if they make the aliens as destructable as the environments it could be interesting but honestly Im still playing red faction guerilla and its so much fun doin stupid stuff.

Loved the first game, haven't liked any of its sequels. This one looks shit to me. Hate the main character. So sick of bald tough guys.

The Red Faction games for the PS2 were some of my favorite FPS...but.. I dunno. I just wasn't at all interested in the last one, and less interested in this one.
