TF2 - Polypack - ThePowerPlumber
Hey, Im not really good at modeling. In fact, I know nothing of modeling and I dont even have the programs to do it with. But Im gonna try to do this anyway.
Ive decided to make some items for the Spy. Not really an overall theme so far...well actually there kind of is but its hard to explain.
I was thinking there was like a Super Secret Spy Club run by the company SpyTech who makes all the spy items that you mailed away for a starter kit to become a member and you got like a super secret decoder ring and stuff, you know? Like kids back then would send away for. But I was thinking there was a club like that for adult men specifically spys which makes it all the more ironic because the spy is all proffessional but hes like in this little kiddie club for men you know?
Anyway, Im gonna make one of each item for the Spy under this theme. I have sketches that I will scan tomarrow but I will explain the items here first.
Primary: Smoking Barrel (under evaluation)
Its basically a smoking pipe thats actually a gun. Its an OFFICIAL smoking pipe of the super secret spy club so it will probably have like the logo or something on it. The spy loads the bullets into the wide end and shoots out the end that goes in your mouth. I call it the smoking barrel because thats a play on words and that is hilarious. It is so hilarious man you dont even know. Might think of something else.
Secondary: Club Pocket Watch
Basically a pocket watch, official of course, from the club. I got the idea of having it be something silly like a mickey mouse watch. So I decided that since SpyTech is a subsidiary of Mann Co., what better character to adorn the watch than Saxton Hale himself? So basically you got this pocket watch with this goofy ass looking Saxton Hale complete with pacman eyes and cartoon gloves and his arms are the clock hands. I was thinking of having the hands say that the time was 10:10, because october tenth 2007 was when TF2 came out. I was also thinking of having the inside around Saxton Hale say "Its time to kill some Hippies!". Since this is a replacement for the Dead Ringer, I was thinking I could replace the sound effect for when you come out of cloak with this watch, to differentiate it from the Dead Ringer. I was thinking maybe I could get someone to do their best Saxton Hale impression, then do some audio editing and shift the pitch and make it sound like a sound byte coming from a watch. I was thinking he would say "Im coming for you, you son of a bitch!" and youd hear this when the spy came out from his cloak and it would be all high pitched it would be so hilarious man, you dont even know.
Melee: Pen Knife
Basically an official club pen for writing secret notes that when you click the top a blade comes out of the bottom. Thats pretty much it, seemed pretty spy-tech-james-bondy enough and fit the style of the game.
Hat: Official Club Member Hat
Ok so you know in the Flintstones Fred and Barney are in that club called the Water Buffalo something or other and they all wear big water buffalo hats that are all fuzzy and have horns? I was thinkin this club would have something similar so in the Spys club kit he would recieve the club hat and when the club would have meetings everyone was required to show up in the hat. So basically, the hat is in the form of the club mascot, and it should be no surprise to any of you that the club Mascot is in fact a Crab.
Misc: ?????
Dont know yet, maybe a badge or a button or a corsage or something like a secret decoder ring. Give me some time Ill think of something. Ill make sure its something hilarious. So hilarious man you dont even know.

Do you think a realistic regular pen works?
Or would a thick, exaggerated, cartoonish pen look better?
personally I prefer the fat pen, it would have a larger grip and would more easily conceal a blade. Please give feedback on this.
