I model in 3ds max and have recently started modeling a Mossberg 500 shotgun. After I finished the high poly version I cloned it and started deleting unneeded edge loops and faces to get the low poly. When I finished the low poly version I was left with some of my quads having triangle silhouettes in my renderings. Any help on how I could resolve this matter would be appreciated. I have attached some pictures of my model and of the problem I talked about.

If that still didn't work, then see if there are any duplicate faces in the area.
If you want, you can do your modeling in the Editable Poly modifier below it, and use Show End Result (the test tube icon) to see it smoothed while you work. However, you'll need to prevent the sub-object selection from being passed up the stack to the Smooth modifier, which you can do by adding a Poly Select modifier below the Smooth modifier.
