Well i am definitely very late but still have to give this whole thing a go. I'm just not finding out about it. I have decided to pick the engineer class. My theam is going to be mobilization. I know they may be looking for some simple skin and bone changes but I am going to go for broke and try something crazy and different.
- Pistol replacement: I will be replacing the Pistol with a heavy duty staple gun
- Shotgun replacement: will be switched with a rivet gun
- Sentry replacement 1: "OK now it gets crazy" will be a RC truck with a small turret on it
- Sentry replacement 2: "I continue with the crazy" a flying sentry upgrade similar to the one in bio shock
- Sentry replacement 3: a mobile tank
- Dispenser replacement: the same thing with a dolly
- Teliporter replacement: I will give it springs. so they are basically jump pads
So you guys tell me how crazy you think i am i will be working on concept art tonight. Cant spend to much time on it though seeing as i am so late. But im sure it will look good when i am done

For one, the rules state "Make sure your replacement item set maintains the existing functionality of the original items they’re replacing, specifically any Primary, Secondary or Melee weapons you replace in your set."
You're talking about having a moving thing with a gun. Depending on whether or not the engie aims while driving, or steers it at all, it seems to me that this replaces either:
A: a player
B: a bot
C: an aimbotting player
I like the idea of the rivet gun. I like the idea of a jump pad.
I like the look of your RC Truck, however, it doesn't fit the TF2 time period at all, which is a big part of this contest. Also, the function of it is completely different from the sentry, which is also a rule of the contest.

Upgrades-
A bigger gun, the tires pop out the sides and get really big (monster truck look).
Maybe a grenade or 2 appear bolted to the truck. Implies it might explode if damaged.
again i like how your thinking, I have the tires shooting out, monster truck style. And the texture is a 256 for the truck and a 256 for the gun. 512 all together. Maybe i could flatten the colors latter. But now i am off to the next model

Level 3 probably make the tires even bigger (with spikes/bolts/chains or something?), and maybe a cow catcher on the front and a rocket launcher thing on top?
Cow Catchers are the wedges on the front of trains-
Main thing though is to pretty up the texture imo.

I don't know about the tank treads i may be asking to much for them to animate. And also i have got to finish like right now but thanks anyway. I was wondering what u guys thought about the suspension on the last upgrade
If there's time, maybe add a cow catcher
