TF2 - Polypack - Mystery

New to the forums and a little late to the contest, so, good start.

The class I've decided to do is the Pyro, going to replace his (her? =P) 3 main weapons.
I'll update this post in a bit while I scrounge around for more ideas, but the first thought I have is a flamethrower that uses spray cans as fuel. I noticed that the one used by the Pyro is actually made up of different bits of junk, kinda like a DIY flamer (makes you wonder what the Pyro does on weekends) so I'm going to go along the same lines.

What people don't usually know is the Pyro isn't just a fire maniac, he's a fire maniac with basic DIY skills! The parts he used for his current flamethrower came from a fuel station he used to work at, before it blew up.
This is one of his earlier contraptions in younger days. After finding a leaf blower in what used to be his dad's garage, before it burnt down, he abused it to make this contraption.

Thanks, looks like I have to rattle my brain a bit more.
While looking at the Pyro's flamethrower I've noticed that it's actually a very simple model with all the parts clearly visible and understandable.
So the parts I've decided on are: A fuel can, a compressed air can and the main "grilling" part. The compressed air drives out the fuel (or any other flammable liquid) and sprays it into a fine mist, which is ignited.
Don't build this at home, the Pyro did, and now he sleeps in a box.
Possible names:
The Boom Stick
Flaming Pointy Thing
Hot Rod

I don't think it absolutely has to, like it's been said in the thread with the contest rules; it'll be easier for them to swap it if it fits, but it's not necessary.
This is only a slightly different grip, it should be alright.
I have a custom taunt in mind for it too.
The latest in cooking devices from Mann Co.! This baby can knock-out and roast the chicken.
Suggestion for Melee Weapon:
Collection of broken and/or leaky flamethrower parts cobbled together and set alight, like an axe-based version of The Shishkebab?
I really like your flamethrower design but what is your theme going to be?
A couple new sketches while I was testing out new ideas.
And the final model I eventually came up with! Can't say I'm looking forward to texturing this beast, one week to go so time isn't on my side exactly with 2 more weapons to do, Flamethrower feels like the hardest one though so the rest should be okay for time I'm hoping.
Comes down to 6700 triangles.
So make that 6964 triangles, noooo my nice round number. =[
smaller spread range but more damage and if you want to smaller air blast range but it is wider AB hit area or stronger blast tell me if you like it or not. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::):):):)
