The kepi hat was worn by the French Army until after World War II. It was a symbol of the Army.

Item 2: Provocateur's Pistolet (Revolver replacement)
Cap lock pistols were used by the French in the 19th century. They were loaded from the muzzle, and when the trigger was pulled, the percussion cap would ignite the gunpowder by striking it, hence the name "cap lock."
