Hello everyone, I'm Communist Cake, and my theme is "Robo-Cow Wrangling" for the engineer.

Robo-Cow Wranglers Mask

While waiting for the thread to be approved, I've made some progress.

The Robo-Cow Wranglers Mask is very nice, but I think those scratches at the top are a bit too big.

And the The Mecho-Bovine Branding Iron (of science) needs more detail, but I just can't put my finger on it.

Otherwise, they are good! Keep it up!

I must agree with both of these points. Also, Commie Cake, I don't think the design (or colors) on the battery pack for the Branding Iron really fit TF2, so you may want to rethink that. And the colors on both versions of the mask seem kind of dull.

If you're going for a super villain/mad scientist vibe, maybe you could make some more outlandish additions?

Or make it somehow an homage to Iron Man? Valve loves those sorts of things, and so do the players!

You also might want to put something tool-like on the cattle prod so he can conceivably repair buildings with it.

I'm agreeing with what the other two are saying about the scratches being too large on the Mask. Contrasting it with the actual broken up segments towards the bottom, it looks out of place.
At that point, if the Tri Count still has some room, you may just want to physically model it in there.

Or if you want to keep it a texture, make it look less "pronounced"
Otherwise, good work.

You've got the style and texture down really well. Are you keeping all that detail on the right side? The left side will be the one in the player's view most of the time.

Yup, the texture is practically mirrored.

Well the gun looks good but could use an extra doodad or two, imo. Maybe a bigger iron sights based on the powertool look, or a drill bit stored on the side, or a small screwdriver taped to the side in case he needs to adjust it on the go.
