Very cohesive! I reckon you could get away with just modelling the backpack, the only downside is it's a modelling contest... so you might not win but if you just want to make something cool I really like your theme.

The knife looks very good, both the knife's painted concept and the homewrecker's texture really show your style, I like that a lot. I also think the backpack looks great, but you might want to consider to change its shape a bit so people can also identify it from the front, maybe enlarging the sleeping bag a bit or even stacking it on top of the backpack.

Awesome, because that Knife really does look like it could have been designed by Valve themselves.
I love your use of NURBS there and the texture is a spot on fit! Are you using Maya for your modeling? If so I'd love to know how to make those cuts in that loft shapes that you made.

Norron - Maya, I just did a normal boolean to cut out the shapes, i hate booleans but its the easiest way to do it i guess.
Usually a "lunch box item" would be a bad replacement as it could be classified as an "item with new function", however with the way the Bugle is animated I think it would fit in perfectly while keeping the same function as usual.
When Soldier blows the Bugle, he puts it ups to his mouth and the animation he then uses to blow it could easily be used as "chugging from a canteen".
It would go perfectly with your survival kit theme as it makes a lot of sense that a survival kit would include a drinking supply, while the contents of the canteen could explain whatever boost he receives form it.

Besides the bugle is held by its handle which wouldn't work with a large canteen. I'm not going to try and stretch any ideas too far, i just want to keep it nice and simple.

Could you maybe do an alternative Canteen version rather than the walkie talkie, just in case Valve did think it was a good idea or if they couldn't come up with another good "area of effect" idea :O?

Liking the theme and concepts, can't wait to see how it translates to 3d.
Color scheme will be interesting to consider, but the leaves can just be made gray variants of red and blue.
Done on the knife's model now, just the uving and texturing to do!

Is that a type of deformer (sorry for my ignorance). I was just wondering as I have a helix wire and i wasn't too sure how to bend it nicely.
