Es-92 Heavy Machine Gun W.I.P

Hey guys i was busy making some lines on a piece of paper and i came up with something rather interesting but its not finished i feel like it is missing a lot of detail please tell me what you think. and ideas are always welcome. :) maybe some edges are a bit to sharp and i am not very happy with the Magazine any ideas?
oh and anyone know how to unwrap a spring? i am literally stuck there

    Looks pretty good to me. The waviness of the stock seems a little unnecessary and actually looks like it'd make it weaker in terms of structural integrity.

    If you're using Max and you want to "unwrap a spring", simply make a Helix primitive and make sure "generate mapping coords" is checked. It should unwrap it for you :)
    That'll probably work in Maya too, I think they both have similar Helix primitives.
