It wasn't actually intended as such, but I guess it's a quick change I can make.
In other news, I got the first progress pic of the bow:
Any constructive criticism would be appreciated.
Note that this is a WIP, there will be some more stuff added.
Oh and it's not textured either thats just basic coloring.
I'd also suggest, since this is supposed to be bamboo, that you add more details. You have 8000 triangles to play with, so model in some of the bamboo segments, maybe add a leaf or two at one of the ends, just really push the idea that it's bamboo. You could even try tapering it a little so that it's thicker at one end than it is at the other.
If you want to get a little crazier, add some tape or twine to wrap around it in a couple of spots so it holds together. You could also model in some things like splinters or cracks.
Go crazy, man. Make it as cool as it should be and don't settle until it's awesome.
