I think it is very good and its really detailed but how will soldier hold it? If HE will hold it on the shoulder like the basic rocket launcher then the fin on the back will interfere.I guess.Would be very interesting to see soldier holding the gun.
As far as the model goes, it's looking a bit ordinary right now. There are quite a number of rocket launcher concepts out on this board. How will this one stand out?
If you are considering making the Screaming Eagle look like an old WW2 bomber, maybe make the dangerous end shaped more like a plane's nose cone, and put a "Shark mouth" decal on it. Reference - http://img1.photographersdirect.com/img/15009/wm/pd586482.jpg
Maybe even have airplane-like parts/references on the body of the launcher tube? Small 'wings'? A propeller attached to the end that spins from the backblast when you launch a rocket? Just brainstorming.
The slight exaggerations to the silhouette look to me like they'll give it enough of TF2's cartoonish appeal. How does it look from first person perspective? You might need something to break up the long expanse of tube on the top.
The khaki green isn't a colour found on any of the other weapons or really anywhere in the game, which may be something to consider. It might be worth throwing some team colours on there too.
I'm really liking where you're going with the rocket boots.
love the ideas, but i agree with jackablade and work on the color palette of your bazooka, just doesnt seem like it would fit in. youve got a good start though.
Cool theme, I hope you get around to making a hat for it .
Concerning the textures, I don't think the normal map really fits the TF2 style; its surfaces are mostly smooth, but they're kept from being boring by having visible brush strokes in the diffuse map.
Oh, and I'd make the inside of the painted mouth black if I were you; makes it a little easier to distinguish what it's supposed to be from a distance.
Had to do it, sorry. Lookin' good, but the name "Screamin' Eagle" is on almost every Soldier unlock I've ever seen. It's not a bad name, but you might want to change it just for the sake of diversity.
It's a bit too shiny to me, especially in the top image where it looks like something from one of those high-res (actually just really really shiny) TF2 skin packs you would find on FPS Banana rather than something from Valve.
If you're going with aviation/bomber theme, why not go full Bomber? Bomber has lots of potential...let me think.
OKAY, got it! You could add some jet engine type/propeller type engines to the sides (they 'propel' the bombs)-
You could add a 'hood ornament' with a TF2 styled large propeller that's jiggle-boned and has the cross-hair inside the propeller (jury-rigged by the soldier himself to look cool).
A symbol similar to this star and stripes could be added if there are any too 'blank' spots on the launcher -
As for little details you can always draw inspiration from the WW2 bombers -
Just had another thought, if you do go Aviation/Bomber you could replace the Buff banner backpack with a jet pack that lets you control rocket jumps more.
I REALLY hope you consider it, probably no need for new animations either, just possibly attaching a particle effect.
In addition, if you do the jet pack you could make a Rocketeer homage hat!
I like all of the ideas here and you seem to be making some rather good progress. Also while I'm here, may I ask are you anything to do with slashTHREE or another artpack community? I recognise your avatar.
However, that's just one idea, and I feel there's lots of potential for melee/shotguns as well with this theme! Like a re-purposed propeller on a rotor for a melee.
But to be sure, could u show the opposite side of the patched hole to see, if its still looking to flat.
U see ... this side will be most seen part of the others.^^
What you've presented is a great model (coloring and texture is a perfect TF2 fit!), but how does the enemy see it (What does the exterior half look like)? I'm concerned that it might look a bit plain (except in the first person view!).
Edit: Ok, I see the shark image in the OP and it looks pretty nice, but how does the current rendition look?
I might add a few cracks or something broken around the P-51 plate as its not obvious to me that it was broken - just looks like he strapped it on for fun.
If you're still looking for some ways to spice it up I might add an air intake somewhere like a the P-51 one (which you can see in the above pic) if you're gonna focus on it or ones on the sides that would probably fit better (ex P-80 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:P80-1_300.jpg)

Nazi's weren't in power until WWII.

The Rocket Boots. I feel like I've seen those modeled for the Gunboats somewhere else before. I could be wrong, but I'll hunt around to be sure.

Hope this helps! I'd love to see where you go with this idea.

Make sure to keep us updated my friend!
edit:
Yeah, you're right about the helmet: http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/88988

This times infinity!
Of course it'd be good to iron out the rest of the gear before putting that fine bit of polish on it.
I'll admit that I absolutely LOVE this launcher... but I miss the face. Maybe put it on the non-plated side?
and comments about the rocket launcher:
the propeller doesn't look like a real propeller, they have twists to help move the air (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:P-51D.jpg)
I might add a few cracks or something broken around the P-51 plate as its not obvious to me that it was broken - just looks like he strapped it on for fun.

Diggen' the rocket boots so far.
Edit: Adding a nice big old (+) style sight to the front of the launcher might be a hoot.
