So I want to get into the fun world of digital landscape painting as it seems to be a perfect edition to modeling and texturing for an environment artist.
My 2D painting skills are very weak. I find painting so different from creating a texture even though they seem to go hand and hand.
The problem is I have been having a hard time finding good digital landscape/environment painting tutorials for beginners. There are tons of painting people, concepting, concepting environments, matte paintings, speed paints but never any good landscape for beginners shit.
Have tried doing a few quick little envi studies off photographs but I seem to be all over the map and never sure the best way to start and how to proceed.
Was hoping with all the talented people here on PC someone could point me in the right direction. Possibly to some tutorials and just nuggets of advice. Im cool with pay for tutorials as long as they dont suck
