Figured I'd sign up for this event as it was announced on the teamfortress.com page (like a crapload of others I guess...).
I'm planning on creating potential weapon replacements for the Scout, as his weapon models are fairly simple and easy to edit/modify. My main problem during the potential creation of these supposed replacements will be:
Reminding myself to work
Actually working
UVW unwrapping, Uv mapping and texturing in general.
I believe that it will mostly consist of reskins and models based on the existing weapon models.
Below I will list what I plan to create, first will be a list followed by a description.
List
2 bonk reskins
2 scatterguns (mods of existing scattergun model)
1, maybe 2 bats
Description(fancy names included):
Bonks
Caffeine Crusher
No radiation, crapload of caffeine.
Increases scout speed for 8 seconds on consumption, causes heavy internal hemmorrhaging while under its effects, 8 dmg for 8 seconds(equivalent to a shiv stab). Player is able to fire while the effects are active
Delirious Deathblow
Uncertain on how I should describe it.
On use: 8 seconds of 50% damage reduction, locks aim completely (no turning, only forwards/backwards).
Bats
???
Ideas:
1. Slower than normal speed hitter, normal dmg (not scout/spy melee dmg) (simple iron pipe?).
2. ???
Scatterguns
???
Ideas:
1. A 1-shotter with increased damage and pellet count, reduced accuracy, increased reload time(reduced scout speed/no doublejump?)
2.???
