What an awesome community contest to be a part of. I want to ask who people think the real underdog of the game is. Everybody always seems to make stuff for the heavy, I want to create some asset for a character that doesn't already a mountain of user created content...or at least the biggest mountain. Brainstorming tonight and gonna post some thumbs in the next couple of days.

2. Main weapon replacement of an embellished spear that is slow to reload but also cuts movement speed for a time.
3. A secondary weapon of a boomerang that stuns much like the scouts baseball

I had an idea for a boomerang a while ago with a function that was a bit more unique than simply copying the Sandman stun.
I know this won't help your modeling, but if your boomerang gets in I would feel it would be a shame if it's function was just a copy of another weapon.
(Be aware that I'd suggest the same function to anyone else making a boomerang though, I don't want to give one any advantages over the other)

I'm not sure if that was a reply to the idea that I removed from my post, but if it was...
I thought the idea of being very weak in close range would be an appropriate trade off for ranged damaging potential with a melee.
Canadian Ink already have it as a secondary though.
Well Valve does obviously decide themselves what they think is a good usage for your weapon, but if you make a good suggestion they might like your idea enough to use it
Anyway, I'm going to stop posting for a while to let you do some work :P
