i may be relocating somewhere in another state during this.. but i'll try an get it done.. thinking if a replacement for the engineers turret, a glue gun that shoots sticky corrosive goop that slows anyone that walks thru or gets hit by it, and also does a damage over time.

i made this a while back if i still had the files i could re purpose it, make it a smaller building or something, but i think i'm going to go all new,

tho in retrospect with time constraints i may simplify my entry to some more simple replacement objects,, more thoughts tomorrow

first rough of stage 1 of the goop gun, i decided to stick with it for better or worsers, tho i think i may move the wheels in a bit more under the piece to scale down its footprint

Incapability

The goopgun looks really good - I think you've done a very good job on making the mechanic parts look sufficiently purposeful without being at all unnecessary. Maybe you'd want to consider adding a small light sensor on the rather bare front of the gun? Both to break the monotony, but also to give it that important Sentry Gun feature, that makes it easy to distinguish.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.

In my opinion, it seems a bit too weak compared to a normal sentry :O
Wouldn't you just be able to turn around and shoot it down before it can do you much harm?

it would be best used in more confined places where long range attacks are less likely, also would be best used in tandem with some regular sentrys, also would figure the higher tiers goop would be highly corosive and if hit by a goop unless you get a medic to heal you or find a first aid pack you would be pretty much toast in 5 to 10 secs


even possible to have it where when a player is gooped any other players (not on the goopineers team) could recieve secondary damage

all stats are tweakable
