Did this little fella over the last two days (about 2h high, 1h low, 1h unwrap, 1h messing with projection and baking...did the textures today...about 2-3h...methinks)...he's gotten a bit old :poly121:
(1756 faces...could use some c&c...mainly on the textures, but the model is open for improvement, too)
I think I am going to rig him and put him into a little scene...

and why should it be
Gir's arms are like robotic tentacles with little hands at the end of them. There are ringed segments that allow his arms to extend, contract, and bend. See?
Where are they on your model?
I think it would also help if you reworked them into your diffuse map as well.
Anyway...updated the Antenna and the Textures...rigged him and made a little very simple walkcycle (I'm no animator...yet )...mainly to test the rig...quite happy with the legs, not so much with the arms...both rig and animation...also I might add some more segments to the arms...
I couldn't turn the hips, since I have only one Bone for the body resulting in the shoulders movin in sync with the hips, which looks off...might have to change that
