Hey everyone, Ive got a bunch of stuff saved up so I'll bombard everyone with stuff now and throw an update up every week or so. If you have critique's please air them, I've got to toughen up my skin.

imho - you've chosen a bad photo to work with - it has a very bad b/w balance and colours are all weird and horrible.
+ Thats not a very productive way to do a painting - first do a base then the highlights and shade, that will make your life much easier and you will get better results.

try a few Loomis books.
I worked on some colors for this next one. I'm amazed at how time consuming it can be and I'm only to the rough color portion
As a note this is the same picture I used for the three heads on sketch page 1.
Any thoughts on the amount of time spent on one color study?
