HI, I'm just learing 3D mode in photoshop. I discovered that I can paint my 3d model, imported from *.OBJ file, but how can I export painted texture?
I find only 1 way, but it saves always in 1024x1024 ;/

Double click the diffuse layer to open it in a new window, then increase the texture size the old fashion way (image>Image Size).

But it's still 1024x1024, right? Just resized after.

Resize it before you start painting. Photoshop is texture-based, not vert like zbrush.

How can I do that?
Document where I paint is 2048x2048, but after double click on diffusse layer, new opened document is 1024x1024.
"I" found some method. If I import texture, 2048x2048 for example, I can export it as 2048x2048 too.
Only new made textures are 1024x1024.

I think you'll be better off painting your object in Max, with the new 2011 tools.
