So I made a gun and I wanted some feedback on the texturing! I'm quite rusty, haven't textured in a year or two.. I want to get back in! HELP!! nnYYAA!!

    I'm new school.....so I suggest u do a high poly of the gun and cast it rigth on to the low poly to get ur normal and ur ao ( which u can use as ur shading ).

    As far as your current textures go - it is looking too blurry and kinda sloppy. Also look at reference and add some ccolor values. Rigth now is looking too grey.

    I honestly like what you have. Just needs a bit more work. So keep it up!

    With the texture you have on the gun and the way you modeled it out makes it look like a water gun instead of a firearm. Are you using reference of some kind?

    In today's games, 3000 tris is a good count for the low poly version of a firearm. I'd definitely crank up the detail waay higher. :)

    Watch your light source when painting that, it's a bit confusing right now. You've got edge highlights on the top, front and back across the different pieces, but they are working against each other since you see them all at once in the left view.
