Wild Pockets 3D Modeling Contest!
Were celebrating our new web-embeddable publishing gallery system and our new Blender exporter at Wild Pockets by holding a 3D modeling competition, and wed like to invite all of you to join us! You can use 3DS Max, Maya, and Blender to export your models into our game engine. Oh yeah, and it's free to join ;]
It will be rolling submissions starting today, April 12th, through Sunday, May 2nd, so you still have a lot of time. You can submit as many models as you want. You will be judged by a panel of experts chosen by WP based on four factors: creativity, ability to run efficiently inside the Wild Pockets engine, quality of art, and the models relevance to the specified theme.
The chosen theme is "steampunk meets space," so we'll be asking artists to model buildings that would fit that mold.
If you win, you can choose between three prizes: an XBox 360, a Sony PS3, and a $350 gift certificate to NewEgg.
