Howdy folks =] This is a first for me. I've never posted artwork on a forum before, but OrganizedChaos said that if I wanted informed feedback that Polycount was the place to get it.
This was a likeness I was doing as part of a job application. Didn't apply in time to get the job, but I'd like to finish the piece nonetheless. The following is just a zbrush screen-grab and the accompanying 3d.sk references. It feels like there's something wrong with her nose, and possibly her cheeks, but I can't tell since she can't seem to hold her head straight and expressionless in the photos.
I'm really bad with likeness, so if you can offer any suggestions/crits/paint-overs I'd really appreciate it =].
Thanks all!

Looks good.
I'm a beginner as well in zBrush, so my opinion is strictly visual, therefore i'm not sure if the differences are based on different lighting or incorrect modelling. anyways i've painted some lines in PS indicating where You could have gone wrong.
The first thing are the lips. its clearly visible in the side view. They side portion of the upper lip is too low in Your model, it almost looks like she's giving an unintended smile. the lip curve from the side view should bend a bit (mathematicly it is monotonous, while in reference it's not) Same thing concerning the nose rim. Do the same thing in PS and put them side by side. You should spot the differences on the fly.
1. Profile view you need to work on the forehead to brow to nose area.
2. Her cheeks are much fuller and rounded than yours.
3. Needs a more visible upper eyelid.
4. The shape of her face is wrong. It's very oval and rounded. Yours is a tad bit too defined and angular.
I mean it kind of looks like her now, but if you make those changes it should help a lot.
