Stereoscopics If you will (3D Films)

Hi Im new to this forum I had a search for threads on 3D films but wanted to get some more specific opinions from you guys.
So Im making a short 3D animation for my honours Project. Im writing a dissertation into whether or not Stereooscopy can induce a greater visceral emotion in the Audience.
So what I would like to know is those who like 3D to tell me what bits they find appealing. However if you dont like 3D why it is that you dont like it in terms of what it is that you dislike about what you see.
Those who suffer from things like vertigo and claustraphobia (hope thats spelt right) or any other sort of visual fear dose 3D increase this sense.
any other thoughts about 3D are also welcome.
Dose any one own a 3D screen?? just curious
If anyones curious of what iam doing there is my blog its really just meant for me to keep track of my progress.
