3dsMax2010 - FBX export scaling

Has anybody ever came across anything similar to this?

I have an asset, it is to scale with real world measurement. Units are set to Meters, Home grid is set in Meters, and I measured the size of the object with a cube primitive to be sure. This thing is the correct size.

When exporting as an FBX (export settings have it exported in Meter units as well), and importing it into our editor at work...causes it to be 1/100th of the correct size.


Other people at work using max have a similar issue, but the people using Maya don't have this problem.

I can easily get around this by scaling things up by 100, but its annoying and if anybody has a suggestion I'd like to hear it. (And don't say use Maya, thats the answer I get when I ask people at work :p)
