Hey guys!
Im currently a first year uni student at Derby Uni and for one of the modules we have to create an asset and put it in a scene. This is the first time we have created something all the way through the next gen pipeline incukding making the hi poly and then the low poly before baking it and then creating a diffuse, normal and spec map for it!
So i thought i would do a 1930s/1940s gas pump but i didnt want to do a straight copy so ive added a Bioshock twist to it.
Here is the scene overall there is lots i need to do!
- add the round logo on the top of the pump
- finsh the shelter and the shack
- add the pipes running from the body of the pump
- add more props and clutter inculding rocks and things
i have baked most of the Pump but ive relaid the uvs so i need to rebake it all but any suggestions to make the scene look more interesting? Its going to be set in a desert so i was thinking maybe some cacti or something?!
