Twilight Crescendo is the official title of Project Garnia. Since this one's actually ready to get moving, the other one I'm working on is on hold. Anyway here's the first of the hero characters, which some of you will probably recognize:
As you can see (Or can't), the mouth is hardly visible from a distance. Any ideas on how to make it more visible? Also, critiques would be appreciated.

Anyone have any guidelines to determine how many fingers to rig?
How are various effects (Sword trails and stuff like that) added to animations? Is this done during the animation process, or is it done in the engine?
