Polyboost Offset problem

I'm wondering if anyone has ever encountered this issue.
I'm using Polyboost with Max 2009 to Snap a lowres mesh to a high rez mesh.
I'm using the Polydraw --> Move function, but the problem I'm having, the offset value has no effect on the distance it places points.
I could set it to any number, 1 or 100, and it still will not change the distance.
Has anyone else had this and did you find a solution?
