DM-CyberHell is a level I original built in UT3 for my portfolio. Back then all I really knew as importing raw art and winging it. Since then I've had opportunities to work with Unreal 3 engine, and wanted to implement what I'd been learning by updating the level in UDK.
What I've ended up with is a 2-4 player deathmatch environment. I still have a few technical issues I want to sort out this week before releasing the files for download.

are you going to do anything to balance all the redness?
the uber red version is mo bedda imo.
The light is bright red from the windows, it should therefore be red inside the building. The second image just looks to ambient and flat and while the details are brought out a bit more in the actual architect the entire mood doesn't scream CyberHell to me quite like the first one.
Perhaps a midde ground would be more suitable. With the emissive red coloring slightly toned down from the windows.
Your portfolio is pretty sick too, Chris. Big Thumbs up overall.
Is that a Gorgoroth member? Hmm..."Brutal" is such a deathcore term ;P
I'm sorry if it isn't. I'm more of a Death Metal guy.
Cholden, kickass stuff.
In the new screenshot, by upping the level of the white/blue light, it's actually removed a lot of the contrast and the non-red areas are looking a little flat. It could be just from that image and seeing it motion may read a whole lot nicer.
Possibly introducing a few key hotspots of wildcard colours as apposed to large chunks, as the red theme of this level is what gives this environment a lot of its character. It almost feels like it's a whole different level with the second screenshot.
Emil's opinion is clearly wrong and I am right.
Id say go 50% of the lighting from the newest shot. Me id blur out the light projectors in general, and even more so the further out they are from the window.
I would love to see this with an added "good"white/blue side of the map for a larger map. Maybe a good and a evil side with a neutral destroyed center.
