I am working on this for a modeling class and would like some critics. Tell me what would make it look better and what it could use.
Really could use some better renders to really see whats going on, and maybe some wireframes. I would also suggest getting a photobucket account their free and you can hotlink images from photobucket to the forums with the tags.
Anyway, its not very common to do low-poly's until after you finished up your high poly model. I feel its important though to block out the model to get a sense of scale and proportions and to make sure everything looks good.
Is this based off any photos or concept art? or are you just making it up as you go?

Your drone art bot looks pretty drony
How long have you been a 3d artist? I suppose you are going to update your model and post so I'll wait for the pros to crit it first.
Good luck and nice work so far if you are starting up.
model right now for a normal bump later but that's after I finish the outer
body. Right now I'm just looking for advice for anything that could help for the
final model.
This thread/tutorial helps with figuring how to do some preview renders.
