Hey Guys and gals,
I just started putting together a portfolio website and was wondering if I could get some feedback. I am currently working on turning the high poly sculpts into game characters.
Thanks a ton!
Imho, everything seems a bit to dull. Everything is grey, so nothing really attracts my eye when I first open the site. My eyes are sort of going all over the place, trying to figure where everything is. Maybe try and add some sort of color scheme for the site and have the work pieces grey to stand out from the rest of the template?
Also, I would put your best things first then, have the rest follow. For example your second model, looks better then the first one you have there. (Imo of course.) I would suggest changing that, because that first impression dictates if the person will surf through the rest of your work, or not.
Last but not least, mb, you would like to try to re-render your models with a different set-up? Its not bad, but it could be a lot better.
Yea, take a screenshot of the site, put it in photoshop, and really jack up the levels until it really pops. Once you do that you'll really see how dull it looks.

Anyways, nice start for the site so far.
