Are you saying that in shock that it's too little? Or too much?

In the UK you are entitled to 28 days of vacation per year (that's including bank holidays), and at our company, 6 hours overtime = one day of vacation. Although obviously that may vary per company policy and whatever contract you signed.

I'm actually shocked. I'm given 15 days of vacation, and 15 sick days. Eight hours of overtime definitely does not equal one day of vacation. Not that it bothers me, I'm perfectly happy with this situation, and we're well compensated in work environment, company events, beer Thursdays, and damn near every thinkable holiday off.

28 days is a month and a week off. That just seems a bit excessive to me. However, it could be the whole "over worked American" stereotype coming out in me. :D
