I am working on a mercenary character and am in need of feedback. This is probably the best character model I've done, so I still have a lot to learn and improve on. Any feed back at all is appreciated.
Right now, I think the character is coming off a little bit blocky. For example, the transition from the chest/stomach to the sides seems as if its at a right angle instead of a gradual curve. I don't know if this is a style choice but it doesn't seem to be working for me.
Instantly reminds me of borderlands which is a good thing. Not sure if that was what you were after but anyway its looking rather good. But yeah, the chest/sides could do with a little rounding to make them more natural.
@Joshfighter: Thanks, I'm not crazy about the way I did the hair myself. I've been messing with it and never seemed to get it just right.
@Baj Singh: I'm not completely sure, but I think it was just unfortuatly placed wrincles in his shirt. After I made the normal map, he looked rounder, maybe it's just me. Thanks for the feedback.
@Megabiv: Thats what a few people have said. Personally, I haven't played the game, but I can see were they are coming from, thanks.
Lowpoly with normal map. I also narrowed his jaw, not sure about it, perhaps a happy medium?

nice work... prefer with mask ... are you zbrushing?
@Shrew81: Thanks. I will try playing with his jaw and see what happens.
Here is an update of my progress in Zbrush.
I like it, apart of the hair. Dunno.
Fake edit: Nvm, I dunno, I guess its just me.
