WIP: Keith Thompson's Mechanized Corpse,
First off i would like to post that Keith Thompson is the wonderful artist who came up with and drew the mechanized corpse.
This is a project for my zbrush & independent study class, really just want to get input and to show what i am doing.

There's too many vertebra and they all look the same.
Nice work on your model too! I suggest that u use a spec value on your hardsurface geometry to get a better sense of how hard your edges are. Which means just turn on the specularity of ur shader on to a vigh value so u can see the highligths.

The concept looks awesome
zacD, theres actually just 2 more vertebra than usual and i dont think it would be worth the effort going in and make those vertebra specific to their regions (cervical,thoracic,lumbar,sacro-coccyx)
Coming along nicely so far, but you've got alot of work ahead of you to do this piece the justice it deserves. Don't let that drag you down though - stay focused and keep at it!
my biggest crit would have to be your workflow- block out all your hard surface shapes first before you hit the sculpt stage. this way you can be sure of your proportions and shape relations w/o having gone too far down the detail road, that you`ve become married to your work and dont have the energy to make revisions that could otherwise make or break the piece.
