Unreal file opening problem

hey I needed a little help with unreal. I have been working in on a level for a few days and I haven't had any problems until now. For no apparent reason unreal will crash every time I try to load my level. I doesn't even finish loading it. Windows just says this program is no longer working and gives me the close program window. The package that I am working from is called myLevel and it still loads up fine. Its just the actual level file that I'm having a problem with.
I have an earlier iteration of the file but I will loose a few days of work if I just use that.

please please help or let me know where i can find help.

are you using udk or ut3?

if its ut3 i am not sure that there is much that can be done.. sometimes it just crashes like that.

udk, maybe try a different version of the beta?

I'm using ut3. and it seemed to happen while i was creating lightmaps

Can you get the UDK and see if that will open it?

aww dude, perfect. I did not know that you could download it for free. I got it and It seemed to open it just fine. thanks guys

yay! I'm on a roll today! I would start using UDK, Lightmass is worth its weight in....code?
