Here is a new character I started working this weekend. This is actually my 2nd attempt at this project. First time I started in 2005.
This character project will contain:
Full character CG
Texture
Pose
so far I have a wip picture of the head, still a lot to do

The only suggestion I have is basedo n the advent children shots your face is a nats wing too wide at the cheeks, around the lips level to the sides.
Other than that, looking good. While playing FFXIII Fang gives off a very strong Tifa feeling in her style and colour.
also looking again i think her head is a bit rounder or more egg shaped. Although it may be that the hair mesh is just making yours feel narrow, or pointy so maybe a shot without would help. but overall the features seem to be on track namely the nose and mouth, its just getting the other stuff work together with it. Ive always found these types of stylized heads to be difficult in their subtlety
hijak I think your refering to the old body where I didnt worked the body only the head itself, or I'm wrong

haha. Looks great so far. I can easily recognize her from the face alone, which is good. I might be a tad nitpicky, but it seems like her forehead might be just a tad more recessed than the references.
The body looks great as well. I'm kinda glad you went with more realistic proportions (read: not monsterous boobs) Seems like any artwork of her seems to focus on that.
Cant wait to see how she looks with her clothes!

A few small crits/tweaks:
Her thumb is almost to the tip of her index finger, and her wrist has a wavy/wobbly effect.
The shape of the toe of the boot appears symmetrical, maybe the heel too.
Her bicep could use a touch more definition, it forms a 90 degree angle at her armpit.

Though I totally agree with what's been said about the forehead. And I things her nose "wings" are a bit wider as fasr as I can see.But one the whole body shot it's totally unnoticable. Really looking forward to seeing this finished.)
Made a few changes in all the eyes, chin and jaw directions, moving from photoshop to zbrush and maya back and forth to match very close my Tifa's refferences
also started the texture of the head, here you can see a grab from zbrush
and started to texture the hair, here you can see a very close view of the hair form 3d studio max viewport
I'm goin to post a full head view with the hair this weekend still need to work the skin some more.
specular and such will bring more life into the character
Proportionally she seems kind of short- perhaps it's the length of the legs.
Nice clothing details.

Really killer work though man, I think that this is going to become really, really nice
Tifa is a super hot japanese girl in her early 20s... this chick looks like a eastern european girl in her thirties with grandma hair.
I suggest really getting back in there, get some references of japanese girls who look like tifa* (cosplays are great) , get that proportionality in the sculpt, and really knock it out in the texture and shaders..
put some makeup on her.
*cause modeling from a game model is just another layer of abstraction from reality; you want real world references when modeling realistically.
Since when was "Lockhart" a Japanese surname? o_o

Here is a small update showing the change in hair look and how the shape of the face mesh looks with a few lights. You can see the smilly face now.
Is still a big work in progress, cloth mesh is just a placeholder piece that has a plain color with a default material on.
