So I've been practicing some human modelling based of tutorials and examples, and am looking for guidance on how i can improve. This is with in-game usage in mind.
P.S: You guys might have noticed a surge of posts from me lately, and a friend of mine made me realize that posting words without works is beyond unproductive.

Where have I've seen this topology before? hmmm...oh I know, it looks like the one in the tutorial Swordmaster (I believe it was). Well the model doesn't follow the standards for topology but if you intend to keep it a low-poly model with no facial animation then I guess it's okay.
Yeah it is the swordmaster tutorial hehe. I did this for sheer practice to experience some box modeling, but personally i find the end result rather ugly, maybe because i lack textures. Do you have any examples of lowpoly edgeflow that you'd mind sharing with me? I have trouble with terminating edgeloops, and I got a couple too many "stars" on my edgeflow i think.:poly122:

Hey kanga! thanks a lot for the link! I've seen the Jon Rush one just recently too. Been quite bogged down by my internship lately, but I'm definitely working on the full body piece for now! Hope to get some updates in this month.
But on a serious note, here's an update, very slight tweaks on the body, not really noticeable, and, a face!
If the face looks too familiar, it's because i was referencing slaughts work for the edgeflow. I'm not so good at getting the planes of the human body down yet without some ref. I'm borrowing a copy of loomis soon though.
