Bounty Arms is an old-school 3d side-scrolling action game that utilizes modern technology from the Unreal Engine 3.
Over the course of the final game you gather power-ups that hugely alter your character and weapon arsenal, travel across the galaxy to many different worlds, unlock hidden doors to secrets, join with new comrades, fight the multitude of varying enemies that each world will bring, and defeat the bosses that rule them.
Awesome and amazing. Just a small thing. The music in the trailer. Gnergh. You should try to get ahold of a music-dude to write up some original pieces for you.
This is absolutely spectacular. Great art style and execution.
How many designers, artists, and programmers are on your team? Also, is this a personal, school, or professional project?
Couple issues though (May just be a demo thing), but on my first playthrough, I had no idea there were other weapons available some quick documentation when the game starts would be very beneficial, also, some puzzles are a little too obscure, especially for more casual players, such as when you have to jump onto the gears in the background. I also found the part where you have to jump on the welding bot to be a tad frustrating, perhaps make it a little more forgiving?
@ Nitewalkr, the demo is originally designed and developed for the PC, except the movement is more limiting with a keyboard because you only get 8 points of rotation. The game is primarily meant for consoles targeting XBLA and PSN, but we want to also release this on Steam for PC users.

Nice, will look forward to this release on Steam Amazing work Froogle. You are new to this forums and already got soo much in hands. Welcome to polycount and I hope your work inspires every other person who is here.
Are you working in a team? or just by yourself (just wondering) Cuz I am working by myself and still studying and learning before I actually make a simple game for my presentation. And not actually using the UDK (or any version of Unreal Engine) makes this process a tad long for self pace learning.
Thank you again for the compliments. We really appreciate it
We are a team of 7 currently and are looking to place Bounty Arms with a publisher in order to further develop the game.
I hope your studies go well and I'm sure you'll make an awesome game
And I will eventually. I am the only one working on this so. Lets see what happens. But I do love to chat with people who have been there all the way and done that.
This is one of the finest uses of the udk I've seen yet. This better get published, I don't care if its a retail game or something on xbla. Either way, it would be bad ass on a console!

i was gonna say that!
We have recently found a music composer for our game, so the next trailer will have all original music

Keep up the good work, can't wait to see more!

Thought I should add some wallpapers of the main characters. A group banner and 4 individual character wallpapers. Hope you enjoy.

@ bitmap, there is an easier way to get across the lava tunnels. It's amongst the gears section
First thing I thought when saw the title though was "What? Someone made a game based on that old unreleased ps1 title?"
Love it, looks like fun.
Truely guys like Froogle makes me wanna inject myself with 1000cc of caffeine, 500cc of Nicotine, and study hard all days and nights.
