well since my main hard drive died, and i need o recollect my photosources for overlays and stuff
and since about everyone of you has that kinda stuff, i would apreciate if you could post some overlays here so i can do crappy art again, instead of training my matte paint skills^^

edit2: yep overlay = detail texture and that kind of stuff

I don't know what you mean by overlay. Even more confusing thus for me is the title. Are you searching for decals, patterns and or brushes or just regular detail textures !?!

Overlays are images used to add detail to a texture. That detail could be a number of things depending on the image. It is typically used to push material detail, such as wood, metal, skin, etc.

"Overlay Folders" would be a folder that stores a collection of these, similar to a "Pr0n Folder" storing Pr0n.

well I guess I never heard of that term, I know about detail textures though. I have a folder like that but it has many commercial assets.
