Hey guys. Some of you may have seen my Anatomy studies thread, and I'm gearing up to make some realistic skin textures.
I'm currently trying to work out a decent workflow for this and was wondering if anyone can help.
Since I work with games, I don't see any point in using a fancy mental ray render (sss fast skin material), so I'm not really interested in that.
But what I was wondering is what do you guys do to create realistic real-time skin in 3ds max.
Does anyone know of a good real-time shader?
I know of the shader fx realtime shader that has SSS capabilities, but I wanted to know if there is anything better out there.
Has anyone gotten really good results with Xoliul shader?
More specifically, I would like to know if there is a 3ds max real time shader that can handle these slots:
-diffuse
-specular
-normal
-epidermal
-subdermal
-gloss
-Reflection
If this is simply asking too much for real-time what's the next best thing?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think I'm going to give J.I. styles shader a try.
Here is an image I found off his site that has me convinced its really good:
I'll run some tests soon, and I'll post results here when I can.
Thanks!
