well I am making the amp-suit from the movie avatar and figured I would start posting my progress. So here's the gun for the suit without the bullets or strap; I'll model all that nonsense in after I get a better idea of how its going to work with the suit itself. Also, for anyone out there wondering, I will be taking this to game-res.

the legs aren't done yet, (there are a ton of little screwy things that have to get sorted out) but I thought I would throw something up because its been a few days... so for the most part... lieutenant Dan has a new pair of magic legs.

Hm, looks like my comment didn't post last night-
Very nice work! It looks super clean
Just wondering though- I've heard there's a chance the normals won't bake well when your edges are too hard, I might be completely off, but it's just a thought I had.

OrganizedChaos- good call, I am thinking that I'll go back in and relax the model out, maybe even slide my edges back a bit.

I did a bit of jazz to the legs, and made the lower half of the arms. crits are very much welcome!

its been another few days since I've posted, but here ya go; the AMP suit is almost done, (with the exception of the head, bolts, and some arm pieces... and all the inner works). I'll post more in the next couple of days! feedback is welcome- and if anyone can find good reference for the leg mechanic, (where the leg meets the hip) that would be awesome!
