I am not so good at creating forms basemesh and edgeloops
So i dedicate this Thread yo improving myself at those thing
I open for all kind of critique & comments
Here is 1st of forms
Hey dude, looking pretty good, couple of things need work, but keep at it!
Add some ankles, and work on the shoulders, the slope from neck to shoulder is too rounded, especially from the front view. Arms look a little too long, the toes should also make a curve, not all be in line, I'm sorry if your toes look like that, but it seems out of place
Overall, your model looks much better from the side than from the front, did you use profile reference?
Nice progress, those skewed edge loops at the ankle area may give you some problems while sculpting. It's always better to have square shaped quads whose edges follow the flow of the forms.
And you will give some detail to the face, right? That would help you save some retopologizing time.
@ BeserK ya i use reference from Andrew Loomis proportions chart.1st post was using but i skewed up scale on image plane so it was too big as you can see in 1st post.
@ EmAr Ok will add edge near ankle area. Going add detail in face later.
Thanks for critique
Quick tip: try to work with less polys, and only add more when you have done the general proportion with lower polycount. I think this will save you some time and give better results.
Your face edge loops aren't bad, bu I'd like to show you this image....I think this is the Norm for facial loops, really helped me out when I was trying to do characters...
Sorry, I don't who the original artist is or where it came from.
