So, I've been looking online to try and find some advanced/complex modeling for 3ds Max & I'm not having much luck. can someone point me in the right direction for a beginner-intermediate user? Ive been using Lynda.com for help but its not quite the level of modeling I'm looking for. I really want to be able to put out some good work within the next few weeks. Any help or advice would be great. thanks!

Video or text?
Personally I like written tutorials more than video because you can quickly reference back without having to scan hours of footage. If you do use video tutorials you might want to take notes and mention the time that things happen so you can get back to that info.
There are a lot of tutorials floating around out there aimed at beginners. Are you having trouble finding them? Or are you looking for something specific?
What is it you need help with?
The basics of the interface?
Modeling techniques for hard surface or organic models?
Poly modelling is pretty generic so if your feeling confident with max's poly tools then dont restrict your search to max tutorials. I've learnt some excellent stuff from lots of different products tutorials

What i suggest is to go trough wip threads and look at wireframes and lots of practice ofcourse.
