I have some college work to do and i'm looking for some inspiration. Paintings, books, levels, portfolios, any thing, of some sort clean sci-fi, something like Portal maybe.
find your favourite game, and attempt to recreate something from it! find your favourite game company, look at their artists work, drool and stare for several hours then take ideas!
there is so much inspiration from one companies artists its unbelievable! and definitely check the p&p thread you will feel the awesome pouring off your screen!
jeez guys, lay off. We've all been in the position of writer's/drawer's/modeler's block. I know I was the first to the smart ass party, but I didn't mean to start anything. The above (real) suggestions are good. Look at P&P, look at your favorite Games, look at ConceptArt.org. While my response was somewhat sarcastic, I also mean, just search for random shit in Google or Flicker and see what you come up with.
if you're looking for something more specific, then give us a catagory (Villains, Abandoned Envs, Penicorns, etc.)
I'm looking for something clean, futuristic. A base or warehouse. I can just sketch lot's of whitespace and black borders and that's not very creative.
just spend a whole day at deviantart or some other inspiration blog/ page. O just google for a image blog and click through 500 pages. If your brain is empty you need to fill it with inspiration but NEVER ask someone else to be creative for you if you call yourself an artist.
Jesus christ, guys, i know where to get my inspiration. It's just that i'm looking for something very specific, and i wanted to know if you guys knew some concept artist or something that had work similar to what i'm looking for.

this is not specific, it is something. And something to me is anything because I don't know the insides of your mind.
Give it some time and write down what you really want if you want to be specific. Or make a sketch or provide a source of existing inspiration and use it as a base for a fruitful discussion.

I fixed your search.
The saying "There's no such thing as a stupid question" definitely doesn't apply to polycount.
... and yes I know, his post wasn't really a question.
Buzzer, seriously?
You mean you came all the way to Polycount, logged in, went to the Tech Talk Forum, and posted a message asking for inspiration.
You could have saved yourself some time by just going to the P&P forum and looking at posts.
Or saved even more time, as well as everyone elses, by just Googling!
I don't mean to be harsh, but if I wasn't someone else would've said the same thing.
