[Portfolio] – Tohan Kim, Character Artist

I just made my first website and want to hear from you guys for honest critiques.
I made it quick and simple as possible so please ignore some minor issues for layout and resolution.^^

Your art is amazing, one little thing that can make a big difference, you have a few typos in your resume page, such as "textureing, and "software use."

I dont see whats the problem with wordpress?
its an easy management system.. insted of creating many HTML seperate pages you can edit your html in wordpress.

Lovely texture work!

Couple of minor crits (did you do the models and UV layouts too?)... the Chaos guy at the bottom of the Warhammer page has weird proportions, his torso is freakishly wide and his shoulders look strange.

Also quite a few of the UV layouts shown seem very wasteful, loads of empty space.

Still the end result is amazing, so who cares really

thats more than likely nothing he could change i think they had to make some sacrifices with proportions to get reuse of animation rigs an such.

tks always ben a phenom as an artist,, and i would like to point at this for anytime some person on this forum makes the statement that you cant make good art without normal maps.

Wow, nice stuff. I never saw your Camelot work, that space dragon is eye-sex!

Mop: the Marauder and Chosen use the same animation rig I believe, his proportions are kind of a compromise between the iconic Chaos warrior look and realistic anatomy, there was a concept showing what GW's chosen would look like without his armor and it was pretty hilarious.

Amazing stuff! Even though you probably aren't allowed to show it, I'd love to see a breakdown of how you did the fur on the yeti from Warhammer. I suppose it holds up when lit too? I've always found it hard to conceal the planes of fur as the normals has a nasty way of standing out from the underlying geometry.

Since I lost too many workout friends, it's hard to get a motivation down at the gym.
I hope you're doing well there. not sure how close from the netdevil studio.
