Hey guys, first time posting, just wanted to show something i started last night and get some feedback, see what y'all think!

Im using an Airsoft rifle ive got as a reference










About 4-5 hours of work so far and the poly count is looking high at the moment, as this is a show piece rather than an actual game model.

looks ok, could you post up your reference would be much easier to offer c&c, atm cant really tell which end is which
just a show piece? why not bake it down onto a low poly version i think that might be better content if its being used to apply for game jobs or anything of that nature.

There's a few picture, its not my gun but its the same model, and yeah when im finished with it, ill have a look at goinging low poly on it!

Oh yeah, my stock is longer because the stock on the gun slides forwards and backwards, depending on where you want it

when u post ur wips post a middle darkish grey as ur bg and try and use a lambert to make the matiroals softer.. just nicer to look at

Looks like you have some proportional issues with the stock and rails, maybe other spots as well, are you modeling with a sideview reference image in the viewport?

yeah i see what you mean, and at the moment i dont have a side view ref, mainly because i cant find a good one of my actual gun, so i need to take one
