Hi everybody,

:)
I have some problems to bake a good normal map in 3dsmax for this object :

I only had modeled one quarter of the object and made a symmetry on x and y axis to have the entire object.
As a result, on the seams, I don't have a good result. I tried to enlarge he cage in the projection modifier but It doesn't work.
I use a 512 *1024 texture.
I also tried to bake it with xnormal but it is worth. I tried to chamfer the edge border but it doesn't work.
I used the lightracer to bake the normal map.
Can you advise me on how to bake correctly this kind of object ? Is there specifi parmeters to set in the lightracer (I used the dfault parameters).
John
