Yo, I'd like to change all my .psd files to display the blue photoshop .psd icon but when I double click them I want them to open in irfanview. Anyone know how to do this?
Hey MoP, figured it out. You have two options. The easiest one if you want irfanview to open all your image formats by default is go to file associations and in irfanview and turn on icons then choose the icons plugin. All your image icons will be displayed in different shades of green still a bit hard to see the difference.
The other option is to install Creative Element Power Tools which lets you change the icon to whatever you want, if I could find the system icons for tga psd and dds it would be easy to create 3 custom icons and assign them to the file formats eventhough irfanview is the default program they open in.
