I heard people involved in cg for movies saying it was like the most amazing program ever, and it changed the way they think of 3d. This was several years ago though.
But at the same time I also heard it was one of the most expensive programs around.
I haven't heard much about it since, and I certainly haven't seen anyone use it in game art.
GG (ugh I know) has worked with them for a torque plugin. Not thats a positive in my book. I also have heard of a few EA projects (which in particular I do know know) used with it.

All the things we need as artist are in the basic version... $2000. Thats less than HALF of what the monopoly of Autodesk want for theirs.
